Public Spaces and Urban Corridors


EJB's experience within the public sector is broad and in depth including the involvement with the design of memorials, parklands, and historic places. Projects include Sweatt Park - Wrentham, MA; Longfellow Bridge and Park Rehabilitation Project-Boston, MA, Lederman Memorial on the Esplanade and the Charles S. Winter Sustainable Design


EJB Designs is certified through the Accredited Snow Contractors Association (ASCA-C) and has well over a decade of experience and intimate familiarity with snow and ice management. EJB understands the costly implications of various materials and design initiatives used in the landscape that are highly hazardous to pedestrian activity. These implications have lead to very costly legal disputes.  Erik Bednarek ASLA has hands on experience managing many properties during the winter including highly sensitive sites such as hospitals, banks, and some of the largest retail entities in the Northeast. EJB has carefully assessed many properties identifying the various hazards property managers and owners must know to keep their properties safe.
